This whisky is also very easy to drink which is surprising as over 40 different single malts are blended together. Some would say it better take with ice, but this could be said as a personal choice, but with this whisky I would always have it on the rocks and with water as it really does bring the taste out and my own opinion is that was not to keep on the Black Label straight.

The Johnnie Walker distillery is still run by an independent family for five generations. WIth this the taste and quality of Johnnie Walker has not changed with all the traditions making equipment still in use. The distillery is in a unquie situation as it still grows its own barley which means the very best is being used for its blends. The full range of Johnnie Walker whiskies is truely amazing and with there three Single Malt Whiskies also in the range there is a fine whisky for every occassion with different age and different character with every dram.

The water source for this distillery is Robbie Dubh and Fiddich Burn and the name is owned by United Distillers. ( Diageo plc )

The mark of a Johnnie Walker whisky is it taste and when you see the distillery it is like going back in time. This is a great thing as it shows they are trying it keep the making of whisky simple as it should be and this bring the taste out of the whisky with every single dram that is consumed. They do have a very up-to-date website in term of style, but personally I find it hard to follow as it is all done in flash and so much of your time is waiting for the flash to load, without much information being give when it has loaded.
