Cutty Sark Blended Scots Whisky

Information regarding Cutty Sark Blended Scots Whisky
Cutty Sark Blended Scots Whisky is a very famous blended whisky and is one of the most popular whiskies in America. You could actually say it is better known in the U.S. than it is in Scotland. Only the finest single malts are used in this blend and these are chosen very carefully so the finest blend could be made. To make this blended whisky two of the key components are from the Speyside region of Scotland and they are Tamdhu and The Macallan Single Malts. The Cutty Sark blend has around twenty whiskies included and they are all either top quality single malts or single grain whiskies.
As you may be aware that the name of this blended whisky comes from a ship that was built on the River Clyde.
The whisky was first produced 20th March 1923 when Berry Bros decided to launch a new whisky brand. The appearance is of a pale golden colour and the aroma is of vanilla and has a light feel to it. The taste is also like a sweet cream vanilla flavour. There is also a hint of coconut. The after taste is of a crisp and clean finish. With the distinct green bottle you will notice this from afar and is a must to have a dram if you get the chance. Details of where to buy this fine blended whisky are details and with a cost price of around £40 well worth every penny.
