It is the same when you taste this as you can taste the caramel right through the dram. At first the whisky goes down easily then you will find it hard to consume. There is a bad press regarding this brand which I do think is a bit unfair. Whisky is important to all of us and there are brands for everyone. You could say Coleraine is a whisky for everyday drinking and one that you would consume after a hard day in the office. With a price around £17.50 for a 70cl bottle this whisky will not break the bank and I would say buy a bottle and make up your own mind regarding the taste of this blended whisky.
