The distillery is based just outside of Glasgow, in Dalmuir, Dunbartonshire, Scotland and therefore is in the Scottish Lowlands in whisky terms. The distillery is one of the last active distilleries in this region of Scotland. It was built around 1823 and that is when it received its licence to produce whisky. The distillery produces a brand of Single Malt whisky which is light, delicate and also smooth to consume.
